Founded by 6 beer enthusiasts in search of like-minded alesmiths in New York’s Capital District, the Albany Brew Crafters seeks to be a venue for motivation and education in all things brew related.  Whether you are brewing on a steam-jacketed, Arduino-controlled mash-making monster, or simply curious about making your own beverages, you are welcome at the Albany Brew Crafters!

Our general meetings are at 7:00 PM the second Wednesday of each month in the Trojan Room at Brown’s Brewing Company in downtown Troy, NY. These meetings are open to anyone with an interest in homebrewing, from the beginner to the advanced brewer.  You are welcome to bring homebrew for others to sample, but it is not required.

To become an active member, you need only come to a meeting and share your contact information with us.  Your membership will automatically renew as long as you continue to attend.  If you would like to support the club financially, you can become a full member with the donation form to the right.

The club is co-sponsoring the 19th annual Knickerbocker Battle of the Brews.  We are always looking for entrants, judges, and stewards for the contest – apply at the link above.

Want to keep up with Club happenings, and receive our monthly newsletter? Subscribe to our mailing list!

Please also take a moment to sign up for our email discussion list to talk about brewing, share beer events, and socialize with other brewers.

The Albany Brew Crafters would like to thank our host and sponsors!
